For the first time in the history of Nature- and Culture House, the exhibition is open also during the winter season. The exhibition will open on Friday the 18th of October and continue being open on Fridays from 1pm – 15 pm except on the 6th of December (Independence Day).
Groups (over 20 persons) can also make a reservation to visit the exhibition during the week days between 9 am and 3 pm. In order to make a group reservation, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org or +358 50 338 8111.
Vuohijarvi nature- and culture house and cafe Kaakkuri are open 6.6.-9.8.2020 every day 11am-6pm.
Other times gallery and office are open mon-fri 10am-3pm.
Any possible exceptions in opening times will be posted on our website.
Vuohijarvi nature- and culture house is a cultural tourist attraction opened in the summer 2015, located only a short 30min drive away from Salmela Art Centre. The building was designed by architect Väinö Vuorinen in 1966 and it formerly operated as a church.
Vuohijarvi nature- and culture house is located in Vuohijärvi village in Kouvola, in close vicinity of Repovesi national park, and about 35km away from the city center of Kouvola. Distance from Mantyharju is 44 km and from Helsinki 165 km.
Nature- and culture house’s program includes art exhibitions in the summertime as well as different events and concerts year round. There is also a cafe, a boutique, lovepark, gallery and information point in the same premises. Nature- and culture houses premises are available for private functions outside the exhibition season.
